I know that this game has copy-protection, and i don't know how to "fix" the exe to work around the cp issue. I previously purchased Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure, and was happy with the game but it was for a very young age group. I purchased this game, Enchanted Journey, excited from the comments saying there weren't too many instructions and you had to figure the game out, parents saying the graphics were the best they've seen and it seemed like a game for an older age group. This game turned out to be pretty disappointing. There isn't much option for personalization of your character, and it was too easy to get through the chapters.
In Enchanted Journey, you don't. Also, in this game they don't follow the storylines of the princesses, they just have little games to play in the princesses worlds. They have you collecting gems that are spread around each world and once you reach you seem to collect them but your count doesn't go any higher, all the chests you open only contain gems and there is nothing to spend your gems on so what are they for??
I can agree with the parents about the no instructions for this game for children and not using a mouse for kids can be more frustrating for them. Overall I would say if your looking for a game that is fun for your kids, has plenty of instruction so your kids don't get too frustrated, your child can dress up her character with more variety and has good graphics, this is not the game.
Verified Purchase. We really enjoyed this video, notice I said we. When I first purchased it for her for Christmas she was so excited about it, then she jumped to another toy, giving me the opportunity to see what it was all about in more detail. I really enjoyed each scene, when she saw how much fun I was having, she wanted to play with it again, and that meant I couldn't play, nor try to show her how to play.
She is such a little princess, with a side of diva and I am so glad this DVD is a part of her collection. She gets to become a princess and it keeps her busy for hours. I emailed another support address that the game gave me a month ago. My neice is 5 and got her first laptop for Christmas. She loves the game and playing a princess, but the game lacks instructions.
We try to help her play when she can't figure out how to do things, but most time we can't even figure out how to do things. The gameplay is a little bit more ambitious than some titles of this ilk. The game consists of you completing a series of arbitrary mini-games to clear a stage and save a kingdom. This would be fine if they were at all interesting. However, they all offer cliche and boring rehashes of tired ideas.
Meaning that this game quickly becomes a chore. Despite the sub-par gameplay, kids could still love this game if they went big on delivering a spectacle.
